Under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, a ceremony was held this morning in the capital, Aden, for the declaration of the National Society for Emergency and Disaster Medicine, under the slogan “We are here to save your life” and the honorary membership and the official founding sponsor, Sheikh Yasser Mohsen Saleh bin Yazid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bin Yazid Commercial Group.
In the presence of Dr. Amr Qassem Al-Turki, President of the National Society for Emergency and Disaster Medicine, Brother Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Brother Essam Wadi, Director General of the Union of Cooperative Societies for Social and Labor Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Bishi, Director General of the Health Office, and a number of members of the National Society for Emergency and Disaster Medicine.
At the beginning of the publicity ceremony, Dr. Amr Qassem Al-Turki, President of the National Society of Emergency and Disaster Medicine, delivered a speech in which he said, “Today is the ceremony of publicizing our association that works in the field of emergency medicine and aims to improve emergency medicine in our country by qualifying the medical staff through holding courses and training programs in the field of medicine.” Emergencies and disasters and work with the health and private sectors to develop a joint mechanism to raise the level of emergency, ambulance and intensive care services.
