In the course of its ongoing activities, the National Association of Emergency Medicine and Disasters (NAEMD) revived the International Day of Emergency Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Aden, by organizing a scientific symposium that included a series of lectures on medical emergencies for toxins. The event was titled Toxicological Emergencies Symposium and was accompanied by a scientific exhibition and a training workshop on the most important resuscitation skills. The event was attended by more than 300 participants, including physicians, specialists from various specialties, and medical students from different academic years. The symposium culminated in a number of recommendations that will be submitted to the competent authorities. The event will be followed by a free BLS training course for the 80 participants who attended the event.
